VOLUNTEER
Happy Valley Music Fest is a huge event, and to get it done, we need help! Every year, volunteers pitch in to help staff information booths, manage stages, interact with musicians and more, all while enjoying the great music and events at the festival. In addition, each volunteer receives a free t-shirt and day pass for the day they work. Volunteer Job Descriptions
Information tent / ID Scanning
The welcome committee.

Help festival goers with schedules, to understand where the stages and pubs are, distribute information from festival sponsors, answer questions, etc.

Use a handheld device to scan IDs & put wristbands on people who will be purchasing beer.

As volunteers arrive for their shifts – sign them in on the schedule, handout packets, Sign volunteers out as they finish their shifts.
Pubs
Beer sales under the direction of a Pub Captain (who is a RAMP trained professional bartender). Pouring draft beers or handling payment only. MUST BE 18 OR OLDER.
Ticket Scanning
Using a handheld device to scan the bar code on previously purchased tickets. Putting wristbands on ticket holders.
Stagehands
The national acts may require stagehands to load in/set stage/load out. Exact number and show calls are unknown.
Set-up / Tear-down Crew
Working with festival staff during shifts Friday thru Sunday to setup and tear down. Can be physical work: moving tables and chairs, fences, trash barrels.
